Pastor Bruce Johnson

Bruce Johnson is a native of Massachusetts, although he grew up and was educated in the Chicago area, receiving degrees from North Park University & Theological Seminary and the University of Chicago. While initially working in the fields of clinical/public health nutrition and adolescent health, Bruce has been pastoring for almost twenty-five years, including ten years in Omaha, Nebraska. His desire to integrate a heartfelt love for God with his love for people has gotten him involved with ministries such as Habitat for Humanity, Good News Jail & Prison Ministries, and Straight Ahead Ministries. Together with his wife Carole and their family, Bruce moved back east in May of 1998 to be a part of God's renewing work at Community Covenant.

Youth Leadership Team

Our youth are currently led by Doug Rancourt and Sue Robinson. They all have a passion for youth ministry and for being part of the lives of the next generation of our church.

Nursery Care Giver, Lisa Lekas

Lisa Lekas cares for our youngest children, ages 0 to 18 months. She has three young children of her own, as well as a gentle, soft-spoken way about her which puts all at ease.
